A variety of woods were used to make this work including mahogany, lemon fig, dyed birds eye maple, and bubinga. The prints on the panel can only be seen from below or extreme angles to the side. The image is of an early circus acrobat swinging from her clinched teeth. The white lines you see are inlayed paper.
