“Two Part Two Part Harmony” / mahogany, belinga, birds eye maple, bocca, and lithography / 14 in circles / 2012
Made as a set of companion pieces based on a phrase from a sketchbook I made in 2000 a few years before meeting my wife. I thought these were a good reflection set against the work “I know your heart, I know your face”. The pieces are made through transplanting hand cut circles from one disc to another.
