While at an antique store I came across an old square yard stick. I loved the form of this and decided to make my own but 30 inches long. I also choose to use the other sides for something other than an advertisement. One side has the ruler. One side has standard size gauges in round stock and thicknesses. It also has two blank sides to use as a story stick. It is made of cherry.
