These works deal with a reintroduction to social interactions after the last year and a half. Each of the three works in this small series expresses a container of the self.

“The inside of the inside” is a small case on stand, inspired by my experiences in seeking counseling and trying to clean out overlooked hiding places. The drawers are on full display while at the same time concealing their contents within themselves. We all contain a multitude of drawers. Some never get opened. Some are organized and tidy while others contain pieces of ourselves that fit no where else. I was inadvertently storing and carrying things that I was never meant to hold onto. It was time to open everything up. There is beauty in seeing the contents of our lives on full display. The light always takes the power away from dark corners.
